Virtual Meeting Information

In April 2020, the 2020 Virginia General Assembly legislation H29 was enacted which determined that under the current State of Emergency due to the COVID-19 pandemic, public bodies may hold virtual/electronic meetings, as it has been deemed unsafe to assemble a quorum of a public body in one place.

The Western Virginia Workforce Development Board has approved for meetings of the Board, CLEO Consortium, and associated committees will be held electronically via Zoom until such time that it is safe to assemble a quorum in person. All meetings will be livestreamed using Zoom and the public will be able to participate in the meetings remotely as well.

Individuals who plan to attend may join the meeting at any time. Those individuals who would like to speak during the public comment period portion of the meeting should email the Executive Director, Morgan Romeo (mromeo@vcwblueridge.com), and register ahead of time. Individuals may also raise their hand using the Zoom platform and request to speak during the public comment period. Each individual will be given three minutes to speak.
